Will the painting ever make it to Bergamot? Saw a fabulous and very extensive Caravaggio exhibit at their museum.
AFAIK, it will be on show in Rome after the restoration then go back to Messina. But Feb. 2010 marks the 400th anniversary of his death — so there may be more exhibits planned.
Will be in Rome 2 Jan-6 Jan 2010. how can I get to see the restoration work. Thank you.
